Aprin Dry Port (Bandar-e Khoshk-e Aprin) is the third destination we quote to, with Tehran West Customs and Mashhad Customs. The truck is still a TIR-sealed curtainsider from Yiwu, Shenzhen or Guangzhou, out through Wuqia or Khorgos, into Iran at Sarakhs. Delivery is to the Aprin bonded facility, not to a Tehran street. The broker you name collects the warehouse receipt. Transit time to Aprin is quoted per shipment — do not copy the 21–23 day Tehran West figure onto an Aprin booking without asking.

How Aprin sits next to Tehran West

Tehran West Customs (Gomrok Gharb) is the default bonded warehouse on the published 21–23 day figure. Aprin is a dry port west of Tehran used by importers whose broker and onward rail or truck sit there. It is not a door delivery and it is not DDP. The TIR carnet is closed at the Aprin facility you book, and the Ghabz-e Anbar is issued there. If the buyer’s broker only works Gomrok Gharb, sending the trailer to Aprin creates a transfer they did not plan — confirm the office before we seal at Wuqia.

Origin hub → export clearance and sealing at Wuqia (TIR lock + electronic seal) → Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan under a single TIR carnet → entry into Iran at Sarakhs → the destination customs bonded warehouse, where a warehouse entry receipt (Ghabz-e Anbar) is issued to your broker. A direct truck transloads once, at Bukhara; a transshipment truck transloads at Osh and again at Bukhara, which costs less and takes longer. A TIR carnet keeps unsealings and transloads to a minimum — it does not remove them, and it changes neither the transit time nor the rate. On this line Kyrgyzstan levies 0.4% of the cargo-invoice value as a transit tax: a tax, not freight, excluded from the quotation and paid by the customer. The Khorgos line runs through Kazakhstan instead, never carries the 0.4%, and its transit time is quoted on request. Turgart and Alashankou are not operated.

Booking it as the destination customs

On the quote form choose Aprin Dry Port, not Tehran West. HS code, gross kg and CBM stay mandatory. LCL to Aprin is not automatically the Tuesday/Friday Tehran consolidation; we will say if the cargo rides a Tehran truck and transfers, or waits for an Aprin delivery. Transfers inside Iran after a Tehran unload are the broker’s truck, not ours.

No published rates. To get a quote, send three things: the origin hub; the destination customs (Tehran West Customs / Aprin / Mashhad); and the cargo data — HS code, gross weight in kg, volume in CBM.

FAQ

Is Aprin faster than Tehran West?

Not as a published figure. Ask for the Aprin range on that departure. Do not assume it inherits 21–23 days from Wuqia to Gomrok Gharb.

Do you deliver door-to-door?

No. Delivery is to the destination customs bonded warehouse; the consignee's licensed broker clears the goods and arranges local delivery.

Can my Gomrok Gharb broker pick up at Aprin?

Only if that broker is admitted at Aprin. Many Tehran brokers work one office. Put the broker’s name and the facility on the booking so the warehouse receipt is not issued to the wrong counter.

Does the 0.4% still apply?

Yes on the Wuqia / Irkeshtam line through Kyrgyzstan, whatever the Iranian destination. Khorgos never carries it.

What is the minimum for LCL?

One cubic metre (CBM) or 100 kg, at the Yiwu and Shenzhen (Pinghu) facilities, on the weekly Tuesday and Friday consolidation to Tehran Customs. Mashhad and Aprin consolidations are quoted per sailing.
